Moorestown High School Class of 2019 Project Graduation needs your support.
Project Graduation is a nationwide event that was started as a response to the staggering number of alcohol and drug related teenage deaths on graduation night. Moorestown adopted Project Graduation 31 years ago as an annual community sponsored event to keep our high school graduates and the Moorestown community safe.
This year, on June 20, 2019, Project Graduation will be an all-night, alcohol and drug free, graduation celebration for the 320 members of the Class of 2019! Immediately following the graduation ceremony, the graduates will leave the high school in buses that will promenade down Main Street. Family and friends from the community will wave and cheer for the graduates; giving them a congratulatory send off as they ride out of town. From Main Street, they will be taken to secret locations where they will enjoy a night of good friends, delicious food, casino games, dancing, and plenty of fun! Our goals are to have 100% senior class participation, to keep them busy until the early morning hours, and to provide them with an unforgettable experience!
The cost of Project Graduation is $200 per graduate. We are counting on the generosity of all Moorestown Public School families, Moorestown Home & School, Moorestown businesses, and The Moorestown Education Foundation to fund this event. The Moorestown Education Foundation (MEF) is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt foundation, dedicated to the enhancement of the educational experience of all students in Moorestown Public Schools. The MEF ensures student success in all phases of their education by providing scholarships, gifts and grants. Every year, the MEF partners with the Project Graduation committee, and the entire Moorestown community, to raise the funds needed for Project Graduation.
Let’s work together to achieve outstanding results.
